Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of xperiencedmovers.com and any moving services booked with Xperienced Movers, a household goods carrier operating under a California CPUC (Cal-T) permit with US DOT and MC authority on file. By requesting a quote or booking a move with us, you agree to the terms below.

Estimates provided by phone, email, or through our online form are preliminary and based on the information you provide. A final, written quote is issued after Priya or another team member confirms move details — inventory, access, distance, and any specialty items like pianos — and that written quote is what governs your job, not any earlier verbal figure.

A deposit is required to reserve your moving date once a written quote is accepted. Cancellations or reschedules made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move date will have their deposit applied to a new date or refunded; cancellations inside 48 hours may forfeit the deposit, since a crew and truck have already been reserved for you.

Local moves are billed hourly at the rate confirmed in your written quote; long-distance moves are billed per the flat or mileage-based rate confirmed in writing before the move. Additional services requested on move day — extra packing, additional stops, or specialty handling not included in the original quote — will be billed at the applicable rate and confirmed with you before we proceed.

We carry cargo and liability insurance as required under our Cal-T permit and DOT/MC authority. Valuation coverage options are explained at the time of booking. Claims for loss or damage must be reported to our office within a reasonable time after delivery so we can investigate and resolve them properly.
